Paintings
Flight Through Time (Volo nel Tempo) — 2026
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 100×70 cm · Available for purchase
A snowstorm becomes a portal through time. Vintage biplanes challenge the elements, piloted by courageous souls. Bold brushstrokes and impasto technique convey movement and the ephemeral nature of time.
A Brand New Day — 2025
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 30×25 cm · Collection: Chicago, USA
A small, intimate format for close contemplation. The artist's own choice of an English title suggests a universal calling — a new day has no language.
Nemo — 2025
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 70×50 cm · Available for purchase
A great sail crossing a sea set aflame by a dramatic sunset. It represents the daily challenges of this small and irrelevant being called man — yet the sail occupies the centre of the composition. There is dignity in the small.
Void (Vuoto) — 2025
Medium: Acrylic gesso on canvas · Dimensions: 70×50 cm · Collection: Collezione privata
The void as theme — and as material. Acrylic gesso pushes the canvas toward near-sculptural materiality. Surface becomes landscape; texture becomes content.
Nuclear Sunset / Atomic Dawn (Tramonto Nucleare / Alba Atomica) — 2024
Medium: Diptych · Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 40×40 cm cad. · Collection: Inveruno, Italy
A diptych on the sky of the atomic age. The scratched vertical striations across the intense painted sky create an interference effect — as if natural beauty were being transmitted through a damaged screen.
Beginning and End (Inizio e Fine) — 2024
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 70×70 cm · Available for purchase
Eastern tradition teaches that the circle of life has neither beginning nor end: it is an infinite cycle. A luminous point expands radially toward the darkness — or contracts toward itself. It depends on the point of observation.
Soul and Spirit — 2024
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 40×40 cm · Available for purchase
Soul and Spirit: the first as individual essence, the second as universal breath. A dialogue between the two — not a fusion, not a synthesis, but the search for a compromise that leaves both intact.
Timeless Rust (Ruggine Senza Tempo) — 2024
Medium: Rust on galvanised metal sheet · Dimensions: 100×50 cm · Available for purchase
When a metallic surface, treated to resist rust, is worn down by time, it can represent something unusual — like a cathedral before which to reflect on the inconsistency of existence.
Time Travellers 1 & 2 — 2024
Medium: Diptych · Acrylics and charcoal on canvas · Dimensions: 30×25 cm cad. · Collection: Texas e California, USA
The time travellers observe the world from above. Charcoal over acrylic ground introduces a tension between the ephemeral and the permanent: some traces fix, others erase. Like memory through time.
Light in the Earth (Luce in Terra) — 2024
Medium: Acrylics and earth on canvas · Dimensions: 70×50 cm · Available for purchase
The work presents characteristics of productive earth with human imprints that "dirty" the painting but, at the same time, spark flashes of light — signs of the fertility bestowed by Mother Earth with the help of human hands.
Quantum Foam — 2023
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 50×70 cm · Available for purchase
Even in a container emptied of all matter and cooled to absolute zero, there would still be "something": quantum foam. Particles that appear and disappear from existence. Even in emptiness, something exists.
Bikini — July 1946 (Bikini — Luglio 1946) — 2023
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 70×100 cm · Available for purchase
When an abstract painting locates itself precisely in time and space — the atomic tests at Bikini Atoll, July 1946 — a neural connection is born that bypasses conscious thought and transports the viewer into a dream reality.
Scattered Vessels (Vascelli Dispersi) — 2023
Medium: Acrylics and charcoal on canvas · Dimensions: 100×70 cm · Available for purchase
Sailing ships scattered in a stormy sea, wrapped in thick fog. The vessels desperately seek a route to safety — but the fog, stubborn, hides every reference point. On existential disorientation.
Battlefield (Campo di Battaglia) — 2023
Medium: Acrylics and charcoal on canvas · Dimensions: 50×70 cm · Available for purchase
The deadly bursts, the shards, the bodies fallen under the impact of violence — but also the interior battlefield, fought every day within oneself. The duality of the field: real and psychological.
Selezione ufficiale — 2ª Biennale Scalvini, Desio 2023
Fractures (Fratture) — 2023
Medium: Acrylics and charcoal on canvas · Dimensions: 70×50 cm · Available for purchase
The Earth breaks, tears, opens into deep wounds that reveal the primordial fire. Before the fractures of the planet, man discovers his own infinite smallness — and in that smallness finds his true dimension.
Rebirth (Rinascita) — 2022
Medium: Acrylics on canvas, double stretcher · Dimensions: 20×50×3.5 cm · Collection: St. Louis, MO, USA
The elongated vertical format — an unusual double stretcher — guides the eye in an upward motion. Not an instantaneous resurrection, but the slow process of rising again, layer by layer, form by form.
Reminiscences (Reminiscenze) — 2021
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 80×80 cm · Available for purchase
Something rises in memory when one gazes at an introspective landscape. The large square format amplifies this temporal suspension: not a precise memory, but its emotional halo — that vague sensation that precedes form.
Nega Into The Sun — 2021
Medium: Acrylics on panel · Dimensions: 18.5×30 cm · Collection: Sicilia, Italy
A pictorial interpretation of the photographic work "Nega" by Nino Bartuccio. Donated to the humanitarian cause of Nega Project (negaproject.org, Work no. 51). The title evokes the photographic negative and the encounter with light — two polarities seeking each other.
Canto V — 2021
Medium: Mixed media on canvas · Dimensions: 70×50 cm · Available for purchase
"Love, that exempts no loved one from loving, seized me with such strong pleasure in this man, that, as you see, it does not leave me yet" (Dante, Inferno V). Paolo and Francesca: the damnation is to be unable to stop loving each other, even in hell.
Extinction — Self-Portrait (Estinzione — Autoritratto) — 2021
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 40×30 cm · Available for purchase
What is the image, if not an illusory impermanence of the self? When the canvas burns, must one extinguish the flame — or let it sublimate into an ethereal new essence? The self-portrait as an act of disappearance.
Glimpses (Spiragli) — 2021
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 40×30 cm · Available for purchase
When the dark canopy of an illusory reality is torn by instants of full awareness, glimpses of hope open, dancing. Not windows, not doors — only fissures through which filters the light that changes everything.
Lost Civilisation (Civiltà Perduta) — 2021
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 40×30 cm · Available for purchase
Finding oneself in an impenetrable forest, on the edge of a cliff, where Nature is sovereign, far from a Civilisation that can no longer be itself — can reveal a new beginning, an authentically free life.
War (Guerra) — 2021
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 50×70 cm · Available for purchase
When hatred prevails over love, and even more so over reason, war appears in its most terrible form. The canvas liquefies into black tears in humanity's lake of blood. Not a representation — a cry.
Transitum — 2021
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 50×70 cm · Available for purchase
The passage (transitum, from Latin) from one condition to a radically different one can be traumatic, but may allow one to discover its liberating power. Like a vortex, the elements at the edges are irresistibly drawn toward the centre.
The Thorns of Freedom (Le Spine della Libertà) — 2023
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 30×40 cm · Available for purchase
"I fight your idea, which is different from mine, but I am ready to fight to the cost of my own life so that you, your idea, may express it freely." Freedom is not free: it has thorns. And thorns protect.
What Remains (Quel che Resta) — 2021
Medium: Acrylics and iron mica enamel on canvas · Dimensions: 50×70 cm · Available for purchase
When a society explodes or implodes upon itself, leaving fragments of wandering humanity and abandoned shreds of culture — is everything finished? Perhaps there remains the remote possibility that a city of conscious minds can survive and lay the foundations of beauty once again.
Tear in Time (Strappo nel Tempo) — 2020
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Available for purchase
Time does not always flow in a linear way: sometimes it tears. A sudden laceration in the continuum — not to destroy it, but to reveal what lies beneath the smooth surface of the ordinary. The void beyond the tear is both threatening and liberating.
Night Journey (Viaggio Notturno) — 2020
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Available for purchase
The night journey belongs to a special category of displacement: those in which one departs without seeing the destination, trusting memory of the route or the darkness itself as guide. A navigation that proceeds by inner resonance rather than visual orientation.
Return Home (Ritorno a Casa) — 2020
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 50x40 cm · Collection: Kelmentzi, UKR
Return is always an act of reconnaissance: one returns to verify whether the remembered place still exists, whether the house left behind has withstood absence. Sometimes one returns and discovers that the change has occurred — in us, not in the place.
North Wind (Vento da Nord) — 2021
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 70x50 cm · Available for purchase
The north wind is not just meteorology: it is an entity with character, history, and its own will. The brushstrokes crossing the canvas horizontally do not describe the wind — they are it. The painterly technique becomes the phenomenon itself.
Walk with Umbrellas (Passeggiata con Ombrelli) — 2020
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 70x50 cm · Available for purchase
Human figures in the rain, sheltered by umbrellas that become the only elements of colour in a monochrome landscape. The walk in the rain as a metaphor for life that continues despite adversity — not in spite of it, but within it.
Tango in the Rain (Tango nella Pioggia) — 2020
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 50x40 cm · Available for purchase
Tango is the dance of confrontation: two bodies seeking, repelling, finding each other. In the rain, the rhythm slows, the gestures amplify, the tension condenses. Tango in the rain is a dance at the limit — where control and surrender touch.
Unexpected Vortex (Vortice Imprevisto) — 2021
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 50x40 cm · Available for purchase
Not all vortices announce themselves. Some precipitate into life without warning, overturning the ordinary into the extraordinary — or into chaos. Unpredictability not as a flaw of the world, but as its structural characteristic: chaos as the condition of creativity.
Rogue Wave (Onda Anomala) — 2021
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 70x50 cm · Available for purchase
The rogue wave is a real oceanographic phenomenon: a wave exceeding twice the significant height of the surrounding sea, appearing without warning. Like life's crises — not exceptional in the sense of rare, but unpredictable in the moment they appear.
The Time to Come (Il Tempo che Verrà) — 2020
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 50x40 cm · Available for purchase
The future as an object of waiting rather than projection. Not the planning of tomorrow, but availability to its arrival — the attitude of listening toward that which has not yet happened. The time to come is not planned: it is welcomed.
The First Day (Il Primo Giorno) — 2021
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 70x50 cm · Available for purchase
Every beginning has its special light: that of the first day is at once uncertain and full of possibility. Not yet compromised by experience, not yet heavy with memory. The first day is the only moment when everything is still possible.
The Star Traveller (Il Viaggiatore delle Stelle) — 2020
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 10x10 cm (10) · Collection: Italy + USA
Among the stars there is no destination: there is only the journey. The star traveller never returns to the starting point because there is no fixed starting point — the stars themselves are moving. The cosmos as a system in which orientation is a temporary construction.
Little Bang — 2020
Medium: Acrylics on cardboard · Dimensions: 10x15 cm · Collection: Rescaldina, Italy
If the Big Bang is the explosion that generated the universe, the Little Bang is the one that generates an idea, a relationship, a moment of connection between two consciousnesses. Great beginnings are measured in parsecs; small beginnings are measured in breaths.
But Do You See Me / You Don't See Me (Ma Mi Vedi / Non Mi Vedi) — 2021
Medium: Diptych · Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 40x40 cm · Collection: Inveruno, Italy
A diptych on recognition. The first canvas is a question, the second a statement. Not a dialogue but a forked monologue: the same voice that asks and that answers, aware that the answer was already known before the question.
Homage to the Flower Thrower (Omaggio al Lanciatore di Fiori) — 2021
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 40×40 cm · Collection: Rescaldina, Italia
Homage to Banksy's "Flower Thrower": the figure hurling flowers instead of a Molotov cocktail. Salmoiraghi reworks the reference in his own language: not quotation, but rereading. Violence transformed into beauty — the political act par excellence.
Heart in the Mirror (Cuore allo Specchio) — 2021
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 50x40 cm · Collection: Rescaldina, Italy
A heart looking at itself in a mirror: in the reflection it sees itself — or perhaps sees the other, who in proximity becomes indistinguishable from the self. The mirror not as a surface of vanity, but as an instrument of knowledge: only by looking at oneself does one learn to look.
The Power of Consciousness (Il Potere della Coscienza) — 2020
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 70x50 cm · Available for purchase
Consciousness is not a passive attribute of the mind: it is a force. This sculpture explores consciousness as the capacity for transformation — not the awareness that registers, but the one that acts, modifies, creates. The power of consciousness is the power of becoming.
The Door of the Soul (La Porta dell'Anima) — 2020
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 40x30 cm · Collection: Rescaldina, Italy
Every soul has a door: not always visible from outside, not always easily opened. Sometimes one must knock for a long time before it opens — and sometimes it can only be opened from within. The door of the soul is not an entrance: it is a two-way passage.
Emerald Hell (Inferno di Smeraldo) — 2021
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 70×50 cm · Available for purchase
Hell is not always red with fire: sometimes it is green, lush, seductive. The emerald hell is the place where beauty is a trap, where apparent wealth conceals emptiness. The precious stone as the metaphor of perfect deception.
Wandering Butterfly (Farfalla Vagabonda) — 2021
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 50×70 cm · Available for purchase
The butterfly has no destination: it has a trajectory. Every deviation is not an error — it is the path itself. Wandering not as a synonym for lost, but as the condition of one who moves following the light, the wind, the instinct of the moment.
Segnalazione di Merito — Arte in Città, Click Art Gallery, Cormano (MI) 2021
The Forest of Auschwitz (Il Bosco di Auschwitz) — 2021
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 70×50 cm · Available for purchase
Inspired by Holocaust Remembrance Day. The darkness and suffering of the human soul before the horrors of Auschwitz — yet the branches reach toward a grey but serenely dense sky. Despite the atrocity, a yearning for hope.
Artista Segnalato — Biennale di Genova 2021 · Menzione d'Onore — 1ª Biennale Scalvini, Desio 2021 · Medaglia Donazione Scalvini 2021
Why? (Perché?) — 2021
Medium: Acrylics and paper on canvas · Dimensions: 50×70 cm · Available for purchase
A little girl turns and, with the wide eyes of one who has not yet learned not to ask questions, asks "Why?" — to us, to the world, to history. A question without answer that itself becomes the answer.
Separation / Connection (Separazione / Connessione) — 2020
Medium: Diptych · Acrylics on canvas · Collection: Rescaldina (MI)
Two paintings to read as question and answer. In "Separazione" the two lovers can never be seen simultaneously aligned when the painting is rotated: separation becomes a physical and perceptual property of the work itself.
Wandering Souls (Anime Erranti) — 2021
Medium: Acrylics and iron mica enamel on canvas · Dimensions: 30×40 cm · Available for purchase
Souls wandering in the darkness, gradually becoming aware of themselves. The iron mica enamel creates an unusual surface reflectivity: the canvas changes appearance with the light and the viewer's movement.
Segnalazione di Merito — Arte in Città, Click Art Gallery Cormano 2021
Sunset on the Romantic Lake (Tramonto sul Lago Romantico) — 2021
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 70×50 cm · Collection: St. Louis, USA
Watching a sunset on the lake, there is a moment when time seems to stop, nature holds its breath in that instant when the light changes, the reflections take on new life and the landscape transforms.
The Unveiled Dancer (La Ballerina Svelata) — 2020
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Dimensions: 50×70 cm · Available for purchase
The dancer pauses, strips all the veils from her body and dreams, reliving every step of her difficult artistic journey. She sees herself again at the beginning — like that little girl sketched on the wall, chasing the heart-shaped balloon.
Metamorphosis 1 & 2 — 2020 / 2021
Medium: Acrylics on canvas · Series · Dimensions: 70x50 cm · Collection: Kelmentzi, UKR
Metamorphosis as a continuous process: not the completed transformation, but the moment of transition — when the old form has already dissolved and the new one has not yet fixed. The most vulnerable and most possibility-rich moment.
Sculptures
Heart (Cuore) — 2024
Medium: Interactive sculpture — circuit board, motor, PIR sensors, LED, battery · Dimensions: 40×40×20 cm · Available for purchase
A heart that beats — literally, with physical vibrations and pulsing red light — only when it detects the presence of a living being. The metaphor is immediate: the heart exists only in relation, activates only in the presence of another.
Homo Sapiens — 2023
Medium: Copper, rubber, wood, cement, enamel, acrylics, brass, NATO 7.62 bullet, aluminium wire · Dimensions: 27×15×21 cm · 2 kg · Available for purchase
The human figure with a NATO 7.62 calibre bullet embedded in the body. Not symbols of war, but actual objects of war. Like the myth of Sisyphus, the human being who strives to break free and is always recaptured.
Helpers (Aiutanti) — 2024
Medium: Acrylics on raw wood · Dimensions: 30x8 cm (5) · Collection: Kelmentzi, UKR
Figures in raw wood painted with acrylics: elemental presences that help, support, accompany. The unworked wood carries within it the memory of the tree, the forest, the natural. The acrylics inhabit it without dominating it.
On Sale (In Offerta) — 2023
Medium: Debris in egg carton container, acrylics · Dimensions: 14×16×14 cm · Collection: Inveruno, Italy
Collected debris arranged in an egg carton container, painted with acrylics. The humblest object of domestic life becomes the vessel for a reflection on vulnerability: even discarded fragments deserve care, presentation, attention.
Lagoon (Laguna) — 2022
Medium: Acrylics on concrete · Series of 8 · Dimensions: 12.5×6×2 cm cad. · Collection: Italy
Small concrete monoliths painted with acrylics: the lagoon as a deposit of sediments, history, water that transforms everything it touches. Concrete — the material of human construction — is returned to nature through colour.
Empathy (Empatia) — 2022
Medium: Mortar, cement, aluminium wire, stone, acrylics · Dimensions: 50×18×10 cm · Available for purchase
Two hands that do not touch but nearly graze. They do not seek fusion but recognition: "I see your wounds. I have mine. And in this, we are close." Fractured cement, aluminium wire like bandages.
The Cure / The Care (La Cura) — 2022
Medium: Copper aluminium wire, wood (root), steel, acrylic · Dimensions: 86×31×19 cm · Available for purchase
A root wrapped in copper aluminium wire, with iridescent reflections that change with the light. The coils rising along the wood create a path of care and protection. At the top, a red rose: hope.
Blue Gold (Oro Blu) — 2022
Medium: Acrylic on iron, crocheted wool, synthetic fibre · Dimensions: 24×17×10 cm · Available for purchase
A tap — symbol of water as the liquid gold of the future — transformed into art. Crocheted wool wraps the industrial iron like an organic embrace. In the handle, hidden, the radioactive hazard symbol: a detail that asks to be discovered.
Lacerations (Lacerazioni) — 2022
Medium: Acrylic on fibre-reinforced cement, NATO 7.62 brass bullet · Dimensions: 22×20×15 cm · Available for purchase
Cement deforming on bullet impact. A frozen instant — like cinematic slow-motion transformed into permanent sculpture. The matter "folding like an act of welcome, almost of love."
The Garden of Lost Freedoms (Il Giardino delle Libertà Perdute) — 2022
Medium: Acrylics on canvas, wood, rope, iron, marble · Dimensions: 52×45×10 cm · Available for purchase
A broken marble heart repaired with golden rope. The "outcast, non-conforming" element that becomes guardian of the garden. A hymn to diversity as a value to protect, not to normalise.
Illustrations
Hunger (Fame) — 2026
Medium: Charcoal on paper · Dimensions: 30×21 cm · Available for purchase
Inspired by "Children holding Food Bowls" (1923) by Käthe Kollwitz. A contemporary reinterpretation of the iconography of hunger: the universal gesture of hands reaching for food as both supplication and dignity.
Despair (Disperazione) — 2026
Medium: Charcoal on paper · Dimensions: 30×21 cm · Available for purchase
Inspired by "Bread!" (1924) by Käthe Kollwitz. Despair not as surrender but as a cry — a silent scream that charcoal renders with an almost sculptural physicality on paper.
Chains (Catene) — 2026
Medium: Marker, charcoal and acrylics on paper · Dimensions: 30×21 cm · Available for purchase
Chains as a metaphor for the invisible constraints man carries — social, psychological, historical. The mixed technique (marker, charcoal, acrylics) creates superimposed layers of meaning.
The Leap (Il Salto) — 2026
Medium: Marker on paper · Dimensions: 30×21 cm · Available for purchase
The moment of the leap — not yet the fall, not yet the arrival. The suspension point between courage and fear, between past and future. The marker captures the tension in the instant before the decision.
Labyrinth — 2025
Medium: Marker on paper · Dimensions: 30×21 cm · Available for purchase
The labyrinth as mental and spatial structure. Not a labyrinth to escape, but one to inhabit — because perhaps the labyrinth is our own mind, and escaping it would mean ceasing to think.
The Mind Lies (La Mente Mente) — 2025
Medium: Marker on paper · Dimensions: 30×21 cm · Available for purchase
The double play of the title — "mente" as organ and as the verb to lie — condenses a reflection on the nature of thought: the mind that creates its own alternative realities is the same one that guides and deceives us.
Missing (Guernica) — 2025
Medium: Marker on paper · Dimensions: 30×21 cm · Available for purchase
A homage to Picasso's Guernica through the contemporary filter. The "missing" figures — the dispersed, the forgotten — become the subject of a work questioning collective memory about war.
Beatitudes (Beatitudini) — 2025
Medium: Acrylics on paper · Dimensions: 30×21 cm · Available for purchase
The evangelical beatitudes translated into colour: each state of grace has a tonality, each divine promise has a chromatic vibration. Acrylics on paper brings the lightness of the medium into the weight of the theme.
Despite Everything (Nonostante Tutto) — 2025
Medium: Marker and acrylics on cardboard · Dimensions: 30×21 cm · Available for purchase
Resilience as a daily act. "Despite everything" is not triumph — it is continuity, it is the next step when there are no more obvious reasons to take it. The mixed technique reflects this tension between the precision of the daily and the fluidity of the unexpected.
Floridotto — 2024
Medium: Marker and acrylics on card · Dimensions: 30×21 cm · Available for purchase
Selected among the three finalist works at the SNAM contest "Designing the Future" — Freehand section (December 4, 2024). A work that looks to the future with eyes capable of finding beauty even in the complexity of industrial systems.

Silence (Silenzio) — 2023
Medium: Ballpoint pen sketch on paper · Dimensions: 21×21 cm · Available for purchase
Silence captured in a square format. The ballpoint pen — an everyday tool, not one of genius — becomes an art medium: the accessibility of the means underlines the universality of silence.
Firs Bursting With Hearts (Abeti Che Sprizzano Cuori) — 2020
Medium: Charcoal on card · Dimensions: 21×30 cm · Available for purchase
A Christmas greeting, where even fir trees "burst" with hearts for those who know how to see them. The work began as an affectionate gesture and becomes a reflection on the capacity to find love in the forms of nature.
Digital Art
At the Blackboard (Alla Lavagna)
Medium: Digital art · Dimensions: 2480×3508 px · 150dpi · Available for purchase
The blackboard as the place of knowledge — but also of doubt, of erasable error, of thought in progress. The digital dimension of the work reflects the nature of the medium itself: immaterial, modifiable, potentially infinite.
The Confrontation (Il Confronto)
Medium: Digital art · Dimensions: 2480×3508 px · 300dpi · Available for purchase
Confrontation as a necessary act — with the other, with oneself, with one's own ideas. The professional resolution (300dpi) is the same as printed books: this work is conceived to exist on paper as well.
On Fingertips (In Punta Di Dita)
Medium: Digital art · Dimensions: 1400×1400 px · 96dpi · Available for purchase
The delicacy of touch — the gesture that changes everything while seeming like nothing. The square format and web-optimised resolution suggest a work born for the screen, for the close-up of the digital gaze.
Laughing Tiles (Piastrelle Ridenti)
Medium: Digital art · Dimensions: 1200×1200 px · 96dpi · Available for purchase
The beauty of the everyday: tiles — the most mundane object in domestic architecture — that laugh. The capacity to find vitality in inert surfaces is one of the great themes of popular art and childhood imagination.
Interior Silence (Silenzio Interiore)
Medium: Digital art · Dimensions: 1390×1390 px · 96dpi · Available for purchase
Silence as interior landscape. Not the absence of sound, but the presence of listening. The near-square format and web resolution create an object conceived for individual, intimate fruition on the personal screen.
Photography
Shadows of Christmas
Medium: Digital photography · Dimensions: 50,7×38 cm · 300dpi · Available for purchase
The shadows of Christmas — not the lights, the shadows. The photograph captures what the celebration does not wish to see: the dark outlines, the absences, the edges of festivity. A Christmas that looks beyond the surface.
Crack
Medium: Digital photography · Dimensions: 87,5×90,2 cm · 300dpi · Available for purchase
A crack — in matter, in certainty, in reality. The near-square format and substantial dimensions (87×90 cm) make this photograph a full wall work with complete painterly dignity.
Hoarfrost (Galaverna)
Medium: Digital photography · Dimensions: 50,7×38 cm · 300dpi · Available for purchase
Hoarfrost — the ice that forms on surfaces by direct deposition of water vapour — is one of the most fragile and beautiful natural phenomena. This photograph captures its ephemeral architecture before the sun dissolves it.
Premio fotografico — Castelletto Ticino 2024
